Job description

Job Title: Maths and English Tutor

Location:

South East England, Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes

Salary:

£25.00 - £30.00 Per hour

Job Duties:

  • Provide individual and group tutoring sessions in Maths and English
  • Create and implement lesson plans tailored to students' needs
  • Assess students' progress and provide feedback for improvement
  • Help students develop strong foundations in Maths and English skills
  • Monitor and track students' performance to ensure academic growth

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Maths and English tutor
  • Strong knowledge of Maths and English curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning styles

Education:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

At least 2 years of experience in tutoring Maths and English

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proficiency in Maths and English subject matter
  • Understanding of different learning styles and methods
  • Ability to motivate and engage students in their learning

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Teaching certification
  • Experience working with students of diverse backgrounds

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
