Job Title: 1:1 Tutor in Core Subjects

Location: South East England, Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes

Salary: £25.00 - £30.00 Per hour

Job Duties:

• Provide personalised 1:1 tutoring in core subjects to students
• Create tailored lesson plans to meet individual student needs
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance
• Stay up-to-date with curriculum changes and educational trends

Required Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Proven experience in tutoring or teaching core subjects
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to motivate and inspire students

Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience

Knowledge and Skills:

• Thorough understanding of the national curriculum
• Proficiency in core subjects such as English, Maths, and Science
• Ability to differentiate instruction based on student needs
• Strong organisational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Postgraduate qualification in Education
• Experience working with students with special educational needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
