The Role:
In this role you will be supporting a child who requires additional support due to being diagnosed on the autistic spectrum. The school has recently adopted differing types of therapy to support its students. More recently they have introduced Lego therapy to their curriculum offering children who require additional support the opportunity to succeed no matter what their learning abilities are. The ideal candidate will be someone who is willing to go the extra mile; creating a fun learning environment for all students and has some experience leading.

The school specifically focuses on delivering a high standard of teaching, where pupils' satisfaction is at the forefront of the school's ethos and values. Furthermore, the aim of the school is to ensure that from the very first day of a child joining the school, they are given every opportunity to; succeed, develop character and cultivate a love for learning. Teachers and Teaching Assistants regularly benefit from bespoke training sessions; enabling lessons to be both fun and engaging.
Competencies:
Teaching Assistants who are looking for a career change or a new opportunity:
- Ideally have a Degree or Teaching Assistant Qualification
- Experience working alongside SEN pupils
- Lego therapy trained
