Job Title: Learning Support Assistant SEN

Salary:
£90 - £110 Per day
Job Duties:
- Providing support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in the classroom
- Assisting SEN students with their learning and personal development
- Implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies
- Supporting the teacher in delivering tailored teaching activities
- Helping SEN students to integrate and participate in classroom activities
- Assisting with personal care and mobility needs of SEN students
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and external professionals to support SEN students
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of GCSE qualifications in English and Maths
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN
- Knowledge of SEN educational practises and strategies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:
- Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools
- First Aid certification
Working Conditions:
- Work in a classroom setting
- Regular interaction with SEN students, teachers, and parents
- Potential for personal care assistance
- Full-time hours on a contract basis

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
