Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a primary school based in Stoke looking for a Learning Support Assistant to start immediately after Easter. The school is looking for a confident individual who is enthusiastic and passionate about the early social and academic development of young students.

About the role:

  • Full-time position starting after Easter
  • Opportunity to earn £90-£110 per day (dependent on experience)
  • School is in a great location with excellent transport links between Congleton and Macclesfield

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in helping children with a variety of learning needs. You will work closely with class teachers to provide tailored support both 1-1 and in small groups. Your work will include supporting children with special educational needs, assisting with classroom activities, and working closely with teachers to create and implement individualised learning plans.

What we’re looking for:

  • Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant Qualification is desirable but not essential
  • Experience within a primary school is essential for this role
  • Genuine passion and enthusiasm for developing young learners
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Safeguarding training (must be done through Teaching Personnel)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
