SEN Teaching Assistant
Do you have experience working with SEN pupils or are you an aspiring teacher looking to gain some experience within a mainstream school?
Teaching Personnel are working with a school based in Stoke-on-Trent who are seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant. The school are looking for someone who can be supportive and approachable to students, ensuring that they make consistent progress both academically and emotionally.
About the role:
- Full-time position (Monday-Friday)
- Working 1-1 with students who require additional support with their social and emotional development
- Able to create a positive environment for all students
- Providing pastoral care for SEN students
- Opportunity to earn between £85-95 per day
Requirements:
- Immediate start following Teaching Personnel registration
- Previous experience working with young people is necessary
- Safeguarding experience within a school setting (this can be done through Teaching Personnel)
All applicants must have a DBS on the update system or be willing to apply for a DBS upon registering.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
