Full-Time Teaching Assistant – Secondary School for Pupils with SEND (New Forest)

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? Do you have the experience and dedication to support pupils with a range of additional needs, from mild to complex?

We are a small, inclusive secondary school located in the beautiful New Forest, dedicated to providing tailored education for pupils with SEND. We are seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team and help our pupils thrive in a nurturing learning environment.

  • Position: Full-Time Teaching Assistant
  • Location: Small Secondary School in the New Forest
  • Contract Type: Temporary
  • Working Hours: Full time, term time only
  • Start Date: ASAP, following a vetting process

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with pupils with SEND is essential
  • A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to supporting children with additional needs
  • Ability to work full-time during school hours (term time only)
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
