Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

Job Duties:
- Providing support to students with learning difficulties or disabilities
- Assisting teachers in the classroom with lesson preparation and delivery
- Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Working one-on-one or in small groups with students to provide additional support
- Assisting students with personal care and mobility, if required
Required Qualifications:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Experience working with individuals with special educational needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Experience:
Prior experience working with individuals with special educational needs
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of different learning styles and strategies
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
Preferred Qualifications:
- Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
- First aid certification
Working Conditions:
- Work primarily within a school setting
- Regular interaction with students, teachers, and parents
- Potential for assisting with outdoor activities and school trips

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
