If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join one of our fantastic partner schools in Wigan.
What You’ll Be Doing:
✅ Supporting Students: Work closely with students who have a range of learning needs, offering one-to-one and small group support.
✅ Collaborating with Teachers: Assist in delivering tailored learning strategies to help students succeed.
✅ Promoting Inclusion: Foster a positive, inclusive classroom where every student feels valued.
✅ Tracking Progress: Monitor and report on student development, celebrating their successes.
✅ Encouraging Independence: Help students build confidence and develop self-reliance in their learning journey.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience: Previous experience is beneficial but not essential—enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are just as important!
Skills: Strong communication, patience, and a nurturing attitude. Knowledge of special educational needs (SEN) is a plus.
Flexibility: A proactive approach to adapting and meeting students’ needs.
Commitment: A genuine passion for education and supporting young people.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
