KS3 SEN Outreach Tutor
Job description
Here at TP Tutors, we work closely with your Local Authorities to support young people with varying SEN needs who cannot access mainstream schools. Our tuition is vital for those who cannot access mainstream school, as our tutors provide personalised bespoke learning sessions, tailored to the young persons SEN needs! This means that we minimise gaps in learning, ensure continuity and re-engage our learners!
I am looking for dedicated and reliable educators, who ideally have a QTS or have been a Higher Level Teaching Assistant or has SEN experience, in Colchester and surrounding areas!
Our ideal SEN Tutor:
- Has SEN experience.
- Confident in working with young people who have challenging behaviour.
- Passionate about supporting and making a real difference to young people.
- Able to tailor lessons according to the young person’s needs and deliver engaging sessions accordingly.
- Plan and create your own resources for each sessions, tailored towards the young person’s needs, current learning levels and interests.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
