Job Title: English and Maths KS3 Outreach Tutor
Location: East of England, Essex, Colchester
Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time

Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour
Job Description:
Job Duties:
- Deliver engaging English and Maths lessons to Key Stage 3 students
- Provide individualised support to students in need of extra help
- Develop tailored learning materials and resources
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Collaborate with school staff and parents to ensure student success
Required Qualifications:
- A relevant teaching qualification
- Demonstrated experience in tutoring or teaching English and Maths
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire students
Education:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
- Previous experience working with Key Stage 3 students
- Proven track record of improving student performance
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of the KS3 English and Maths curriculum
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Proficiency in using various teaching strategies and techniques
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional certifications in Special Education or Literacy
- Experience in delivering outreach programmes
Working Conditions:
- Part-Time position with flexible hours
- Work primarily in a school or learners home
- Potential for remote tutoring sessions

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
