Job Duties:

• Assist the Key Stage 1 (KS1) teacher in delivering lessons and activities
• Support individual students or small groups with their learning and development
• Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Assist with classroom management and behaviour of students
• Contribute to the planning and preparation of educational materials
• Provide feedback to the teacher on student progress and engagement

Required Qualifications:

• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
• Previous experience working with children in an educational setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Minimum of Level 2 Teaching Assistant 

Education:

Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths

Experience:

Previous experience working with children in an educational setting

Knowledge and Skills:

• Understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum
• Ability to engage and motivate young learners
• Organisational skills and attention to detail
• Patience and empathy when working with students

Preferred Qualifications:

• Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
• First Aid certification
