Position Details

• Role: EYFS Teaching Assistant
• Location: Lancaster
• Contract: Full-time (term time)
• Start Date: Immediate or flexible for the right candidate
• Salary: £12.90 - £13.50 per hour 

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive individual who:

• Holds a recognized qualification in Early Years Education (e.g., Level 3 in Childcare, CACHE, or equivalent).
• Has experience working with young children, ideally in a school or nursery setting.
• Demonstrates a caring and nurturing attitude to support the emotional and educational needs of every child.
• Is knowledgeable about the EYFS framework and its application in a classroom environment.
• Can work collaboratively with teaching staff to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering engaging lessons and activities tailored to the EYFS curriculum.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to children who need additional assistance.
• Foster a positive and safe learning atmosphere.
• Contribute to observations and assessments to track student progress.
• Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other staff members.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
