About the Role:

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated KS1  Teacher to join a supportive and dynamic school team, working with young students in Key Stage 1. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in children’s educational journeys, helping them to reach their full potential in a safe and nurturing environment. The school is based in Chelsea and is close to Sloan Square.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging, personalized lessons tailored to the needs of students
  • Develop Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress, adapting teaching strategies as necessary.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants, SEN support staff, and external specialists to provide a holistic approach to learning.
  • Create an inclusive, supportive, and stimulating classroom environment that fosters emotional and academic growth.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers to provide updates on student progress and discuss strategies for continued support at home.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK (required).
  • Previous experience teaching KS1 and/or KS2 students (desirable but not essential).
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for making a difference in children’s lives.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
