Teaching Personnel is supporting a forward-thinking specialist provision in Bournemouth to appoint a full-time Key Stage 2 Teacher with QTS. The school supports children and young people aged 3 to 18 with special educational needs, including autism, SEMH, communication difficulties, and developmental challenges. Your Role as a Key Stage 2 Teacher

You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons that cater to a small group of pupils within Key Stage 2.

With an emphasis on emotional wellbeing and structure, your approach will combine creativity, patience and consistency. Pupils will rely on your guidance and reassurance to make progress both academically and personally.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and delivering personalised learning plans

  • Creating a calm, inclusive and safe classroom environment

  • Working closely with teaching assistants and therapeutic staff

  • Using behaviour support strategies to promote engagement

  • Monitoring and tracking individual pupil progress

  • Communicating effectively with parents, carers, and professionals

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
