History Teacher Needed – Secondary School in Salford

Start Date: After the Easter Holidays 2025
Location: Salford
Contract: Full-time
Salary: MPS/UPS (£31,650 - £49,084)

A secondary school in Salford is seeking a dedicated History Teacher to join their Humanities department after the Easter break. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified History Teacher (QTS) or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) to inspire students and deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4.

The Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching History at KS3 and GCSE level, planning and delivering engaging lessons, and supporting students to develop a passion for the subject. You will be joining a supportive and well-resourced department, with opportunities for professional development and career progression.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A qualified History Teacher (QTS) or ECT looking to gain experience in a secondary school setting.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver high-quality lessons to students of varying abilities.
  • A proactive and engaging teaching style, with excellent classroom management.
  • Commitment to student progress and the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning needs.
