Location: Brooklands, Milton Keynes
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

Are you a passionate and knowledgeable History Teacher looking to inspire the next generation of historians?

We are working in partnership with our client, a successful and high-achieving academy school based in Brooklands, Milton Keynes, to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic History Teacher for a full-time permanent position starting in September 2025.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality History lessons to KS3 and KS4 students

  • Plan, prepare, and assess student work in line with national curriculum standards

  • Foster a love for History and critical thinking through dynamic teaching and classroom discussion

  • Support student progress and development in a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment

  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities, trips, and departmental collaboration

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

  • Have experience teaching History at secondary level (KS3 and KS4)

  • Be passionate about their subject and committed to inspiring student curiosity and achievement

  • Demonstrate excellent classroom management and strong communication skills

  • Be available for a full-time role from September 2025
