 Graduates Wanted – Future Teachers Programme

About the Programme:

Our Future Teachers Programme is designed to provide graduates with invaluable experience in secondary schools, preparing you for a rewarding career in teaching.

  • Year 1: Work as a Cover Supervisor, gaining classroom experience and developing essential teaching skills.
  • Year 2: Transition to a salaried teacher training route with one of our partner schools, working towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

What We’re Looking For:

  • Recent graduates with a degree in a relevant subject (e.g., Maths, English, Science, History, Geography, MFL, etc.).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for working with young people and a desire to inspire.
  • Full-time availability starting ASAP or September 2025

What is a Cover Supervisor?

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure lessons run smoothly in the absence of a teacher.
  • Support students in their learning, offering guidance and encouragement.
  • Gain insight into the teaching profession and school life.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
