Position: Graduate Teacher Training Programme
Programme Highlights:
- Duration: 2 years

About the Programme
Our Graduate Teacher Training Programme in Bournemouth is designed to provide you with comprehensive training and practical experience. During the first year, you will work full-time in a supportive school environment as a Cover Supervisor, gaining hands-on experience. In the second year, you will progress to Initial Teacher Training (ITT), working towards your PGCE qualification, while remaining in the same school or trust.
Programme Details

Year 1: Classroom Experience as a Cover Supervisor
- Full-time commitment, working 5 days a week
- Assist teachers, support students, and lead classroom activities
- Develop classroom management skills and instructional strategies

Year 2: Initial Teacher Training (ITT)
- Continue working in the same school/trust while undertaking formal teacher training
- Work towards achieving your PGCE qualification
- Receive mentorship and support from experienced educators
Ideal Candidate Profile

Qualifications:
- A degree in any subject (preferably with a 2:1 or higher)
- GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
