Graduate Teaching Assistant – Primary/Secondary's across Wigan! (Temporary to permanent available)

We are seeking several Graduate Teaching Assistants to work across a group of our client schools in Wigan. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate who is either considering a career in teaching or wants to gain valuable classroom experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one and small group support to students in a range of subjects.
• Assist teachers with lesson planning, classroom management, and lesson delivery.
• Help to differentiate work to meet the needs of students with varying abilities.
• Encourage student participation and engagement in lessons.
• Support students with literacy and numeracy development.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
• Assist with extracurricular activities and school events.

Requirements:

• Recent graduate with a strong academic background.
• A desire to pursue a career in teaching or education.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive and proactive approach to supporting students.
• An understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
