Job description

Are you a recent graduate with a passion for education? This is a fantastic opportunity to kick-start your career in teaching as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in secondary schools across Stoke-on-Trent. You will gain invaluable experience supporting students in a range of subjects and helping to deliver high-quality education under the guidance of experienced teachers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students across all Key Stages with their learning.
  • Assist teachers in preparing and delivering lessons.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students who need additional help.
  • Help with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment.
  • Monitor and track student progress.

Requirements:

  • A degree (any subject) with a passion for education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Enthusiasm for working with young people and supporting their development.
  • No prior experience in education is necessary – just a willingness to learn!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
