Graduate Teaching Assistant - Middlesbrough – January 2021 start

- Are you a recent graduate seeking a teaching assistant role to build up your experience ahead of pursuing a PGCE or teacher training in September 2021?
- Do you have experience tutoring, mentoring or coaching?
Teaching Personnel are currently working alongside a large Secondary school in the Middlesbrough area who are looking to recruit a number of Graduate Teaching Assistants to work alongside their KS3 and KS4 students for the academic year of 2020/2021. The ideal candidate will have experience of working with children between 9 – 16 (not essential) and will be educated to a degree level.
This Middlesbrough based school has been rated ‘Good’ by its last OFSTED inspection in early 2017 and is continuously looking to improve. Essential Requirements:
- Degree level qualification (2:2 Minimum)
- Able to provide a full 6 year career history and provide 2 references
- Hold a valid passport or birth certificate with proof of national insurance
- Clear Enhanced Child Workforce Only DBS (registered on the update service)
- Experience of working/supporting with children between 9 – 16

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
