Teaching Personnel are recruiting recent university graduates to work as teaching assistants or cover supervisors in our amazing local secondary schools. If you have had any experience working with children or have a passion for education, this could be a great opportunity for you!
We are working closely with a mainstream secondary school in the Hall Green area of Birmingham (B28) who consistently require TA and cover supervisor support on a weekly basis. We ideally seek confident and pro active individuals with a keen interest in education.
Pay Rate: Varies between £85-110 (dependent upon role and school)
Our ideal candidate will:
- be a recent graduate and hold a bachelors degree
- have a passion for education
- have both English and Maths GCSE qualifications
- have an understanding of the UK school system and national curriculum
- have some experience working with children/ in childcare
- be pro active and eager to learn new skills
The role of a teaching assistant is integral for the smooth running of any class. You will be assisting on a 1:1 and small group basis, particularly with lower-level attaining pupils and those with special educational needs.
The role of a cover supervisor is to follow pre set out lesson plans accurately, delivering engaging lessons to all students whilst managing class behaviour effectively.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
