ARE YOU READY TO THROW YOURSELF IN TO A FULL TIME TEACHING ASSISTANT POSITION WHERE YOU CAN SHOWCASE YOUR ABILITIES AND TALENTS?
Teaching Personnel are working with a secondary school in B36 to recruit a teaching assistant on a full time basis to support pupils who require tailored academic support as well as those who need focused attention due to various special educational needs. We are looking for someone who can start ASAP.
Important Details:
Hours: Full Time (can be flexible for the right candidate)
Rate of pay: £84-100 (per day, dependent upon experience)
Location: B36, West Midlands
Ideal Candidate:
- Recent university graduate (psychology, education studies, special education, sports science)
- Previous experience working within education/childcare is a bonus
- GCSEs in English and Maths
- Confident and able to work independently supporting children on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Any personal or professional experience working with young people with special educational needs
- Knowledge of the UK national curriculum
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Excellent and confident behaviour management skills
- Enhanced, child only DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one through Teaching Personnel)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
