Job Advertisement: Graduate Cover Supervisor - Full-Time 

Location: Burnley

Are you a recent graduate looking to gain valuable experience in education? Do you have a passion for supporting students and making a positive impact on their learning journey? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!

We are currently seeking a Graduate Cover Supervisor for a part-time, temporary role starting after Easter. This role is ideal for a graduate looking to build experience within the education sector and work in a vibrant, supportive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise classes across various subjects in the absence of the regular teacher
  • Ensure students remain on task and manage classroom behaviour
  • Assist students with their learning and provide additional support where necessary
  • Support teachers in preparing resources and managing classroom activities
  • Help create a positive, engaging atmosphere that encourages student learning

What We’re Looking For:

  • A recent graduate (any degree subject considered)
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage groups of students effectively
  • Enthusiasm for working in a school environment and a passion for helping students achieve their best

Ideally, some experience working with young people, though this is not essential
