Geography Teacher – Full-Time – September Start – Levenshulme, Manchester

Teaching Personnel is working with an Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ secondary school in Levenshulme, Manchester, to recruit a passionate and committed Geography Teacher. This diverse and well-respected school is seeking a teacher to start in September on a full-time basis, covering a long-term absence. Pay will be in line with your teaching scale, depending on experience.

The role will involve:

  • Planning and delivering high-quality Geography lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students

  • Adapting teaching methods and materials to meet the needs of all learners

  • Assessing, tracking, and reporting on student progress in line with department policy

  • Contributing to departmental planning and curriculum development

  • Maintaining high standards of classroom behaviour and student engagement

  • Supporting the school’s ethos, vision, and values, both inside and outside the classroom

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Have a degree in Geography or a closely related subject

  • Have experience teaching Geography at KS3 and KS4

  • Be familiar with the AQA or Edexcel GCSE specifications (preferred but not essential)

  • Be an excellent communicator with strong organisational and classroom management skills

  • Be enthusiastic about delivering creative and engaging lessons that inspire students
