Geography Teacher – Secondary School in Bolton

An inclusive secondary school in Bolton is seeking a passionate and qualified Geography Teacher to join their Humanities department from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach a subject that helps young people understand the world around them, while working in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Salary: MPS/UPS (£31,750 - £49,084 per annum, depending on experience)

In this full-time role, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring Geography lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You’ll take full ownership of planning, marking, and assessments, and will play an active role in monitoring student progress. Working closely with the Humanities department, you’ll help shape the curriculum and promote a culture of high achievement and curiosity within your subject area.

To be considered, you must hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), ideally with a specialism in Geography. You should have strong subject knowledge and a creative approach to teaching that encourages student participation and independent thinking. Your ability to manage classroom behaviour and build strong professional relationships will be key, as will your commitment to helping all students reach their potential.
