General Cover - Unqualified Teacher
Location: Northamptonshire
Salary: £95 - £150 dependant on experience
Start Date: Immediate/ASAP
About the Role: Teaching Personnel are recruiting for General Cover Teachers to work in a variety of schools across Northamptonshire. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education but may not hold formal teaching qualifications. As a General Cover Teacher, you will have the chance to step into classrooms across different subjects, providing vital support to students and teachers.
You will work with students of varying abilities and age groups, gaining experience in a range of educational settings. This is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to gain experience in education, or for those with an interest in pursuing a career in teaching.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide general classroom support in the absence of the regular teacher.
- Deliver pre-planned lessons and manage the classroom to ensure a positive learning environment.
- Support students of all abilities, encouraging engagement and progress.
- Adapt teaching styles to the needs of individual students.
- Maintain a positive and productive classroom atmosphere.
Ideal Candidate:
- A passion for working with young people and helping them achieve their full potential.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage students.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to different classroom settings.
- Previous experience working with children or in an education setting is desirable but not essential.
- A willingness to undergo training and professional development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
