Shape Futures, One Student at a Time: GCSE Tutor Opportunity with TP-Tutors

TP Tutors is seeking qualified and experienced GCSE teachers to provide one-to-one tuition to students in the Nottinghamshire area. This role offers an opportunity to utilize your educational expertise in a flexible and supportive setting.

We are looking for individuals who:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Possess demonstrable experience in tuition or education, particularly at the GCSE level.
  • Are capable of working with students of varying abilities, including those who may present challenging behaviours.
  • Have a strong understanding of safeguarding principles and are committed to ensuring a safe learning environment.
  • Hold a valid DBS check and are subscribed to the update service.

As a GCSE Tutor with TP Tutors you will:

  • Provide focused, one-to-one tuition in GCSE subjects.
  • Deliver tuition sessions in public libraries or at the student's home under guardian supervision.
  • Adapt teaching approaches to meet the individual learning needs of each student.
  • Foster a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the academic progress and confidence of students.

  • Competitive pay rate of £25 - £30 per hour, dependent on pupil funding and your expertise.
