Functional Skills Tutors Wanted – English and Maths – Worksop
£25 per hour | Flexible Hours | Immediate Start Available

Are you passionate about helping others achieve their goals? TP Tutors is recruiting enthusiastic and reliable tutors to support learners in Worksop as they prepare for Functional Skills qualifications in English and/or Maths.

About the Opportunity
We’re looking for individuals who can provide targeted academic support to learners on a one-to-one basis or in small groups. Whether you’re an experienced tutor or have a background in education, your skills can make a real difference.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, tailored sessions to meet individual learning needs

  • Track student progress and adapt approaches as required

  • Encourage confidence, motivation, and independent learning

Who We’re Looking For

  • Experience in education or tutoring – Functional Skills experience is a plus

  • Strong subject knowledge in English and/or Maths

  • A patient, encouraging approach and commitment to learner success

  • A teaching qualification is desirable, but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
