Full-Time Cover Supervisor
Location: North Manchester, Oldham, and Rochdale

About the Role

As a full-time Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring continuity of education when teachers are absent. You will be responsible for supervising pre-prepared lessons, maintaining a positive classroom atmosphere, and supporting students with their learning. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in a school setting while making a meaningful impact on students' education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects in the absence of the regular teacher.
  • Managing classroom behaviour and creating a safe, engaging learning environment.
  • Supporting students with their learning and responding to any questions.
  • Liaising with teaching staff to ensure seamless lesson delivery.
  • Assisting with administrative tasks and supporting school activities as needed.
  • Providing feedback to teaching staff regarding student engagement and lesson coverage.

Requirements

  • A degree in any subject.
  • Previous experience working with young people, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage a classroom effectively and maintain discipline.
  • A proactive, reliable, and flexible approach to work.
  • A passion for education and student development.

This role is based in North Manchester, Oldham, and Rochdale, so applicants must either reside in these areas or be able to commute.
