Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons to Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) students
  • Assess and monitor the progress of students, providing feedback to parents and senior staff
  • Create a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes the social, emotional, and educational development of children
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement a balanced curriculum that meets the needs of individual students
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in an Early Years setting
  • Knowledge of the EYFS framework and curriculum

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in an Early Years setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching methods for young learners
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Early Years Education
  • Training in safeguarding and child protection

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
