Job description

Job Title: EYFS Teacher

Location: North West England, Lancashire, Rawtenstall

Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours

Primary Industry: Education and Training

Salary: £100 - £120 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum
  • Assess and monitor the progress of children aged 3-5 years old
  • Create a safe and stimulating learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding children's development
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to teaching and learning

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Knowledge of EYFS framework and best practises

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years' experience teaching in an EYFS setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of child development theories
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual learners
  • Effective classroom management techniques

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Early Years Education
  • SEN experience

Working Conditions:

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
