  • Building Positive Relationships: Establish a warm, supportive rapport with students, fostering a positive environment where they feel encouraged to explore, participate, and grow.
  • Collaborating with Professionals: Work closely with teachers, therapists, and other specialists to monitor student progress and offer insights, helping to refine support strategies.
  • Ensuring a Safe Environment: Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning space, ensuring that every child feels supported and valued.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Passion for Special Education: A strong interest in supporting children with autism and a commitment to helping them achieve their potential.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Patience and Empathy: The ability to stay patient and understanding, especially when working with students who may need extra support or exhibit challenging behaviors.
  • Willingness to Learn: A proactive attitude toward professional growth, with a commitment to developing skills and learning from experienced colleagues.
  • Team-Oriented Mindset: Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team, following guidance while also sharing your ideas and contributions.

Requirements:

  • Safeguarding Commitment: All candidates must be willing to undergo relevant safeguarding checks, including an Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance.
