Teaching Personnel is looking for a motivated and engaging English Tutor to provide targeted support within a vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Brighton. The school is known for its strong pastoral care, creative curriculum, and commitment to helping every student succeed.

About the role:

• Deliver 1:1 or small group tuition sessions to KS3 and KS4 students in English Language and Literature

• Help raise attainment and improve student confidence ahead of key assessments and GCSE exams

• Work collaboratively with school staff to tailor learning plans and monitor progress

• Sessions may take place during the school day or after school, depending on your availability

The ideal candidate will:

• Have a strong background in English or a related subject

• Possess prior experience in tutoring or classroom support (QTS desirable but not essential)

• Be confident in engaging students of varying ability levels

• Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)

• Be passionate about education and making a positive impact
