English Teacher

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a local college seeking a English Teacher from February 2025.
The school:
Located in the charming coastal town of Poole, this college offers a vibrant and inclusive learning environment for students aged 16 to 18. With a wide number of further education pathways this institution prides itself on a equipping post-16 pupils with the right technical and soft skills for their next steps.
The role:
The school are looking to appoint a dynamic English Teacher to join on a full-time from February 2025. You will be joining a supportive department who are passionate and determined to deliver high standards to all learners. The appointed educator will be teaching GCSE level English to college aged students
To succeed in this role, you will:
- Be an excellent classroom practitioner with an enjoyment of working with young people.
- Have effective classroom management and an ability to demonstrate resilience in working with challenging behaviour.
- Have effective time management; able to prioritise workload to meet deadlines and targets.
- Be an excellent team player, genuinely committed to working in partnership with others.
- Be an excellent communicator to a variety of audiences with good interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
- Be a reflective practitioner committed to developing own teaching and learning strategies.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
