Job Advertisement: English Teacher (Full-Time)

A secondary school in Poole is currently seeking a qualified and passionate English Teacher to join their dynamic team from January 2025. This is a full-time position, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to the school's commitment to providing high-quality education to its diverse student body.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver, and assess English lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Ensure a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love for languages.
• Work closely with the department and other staff members to support student development and achievement.
• Contribute to the school's extracurricular activities and language events where applicable.
• Maintain accurate student records and provide feedback to both students and parents.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching English at secondary school level.
• A degree in English or a related subject is desirable.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to inspire students.
• A genuine passion for languages and the ability to share that enthusiasm with students.
• Excellent organisational skills and a collaborative team player.
