Job description

A reputable mainstream secondary school in Poole is seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher for a full-time position starting in January 2024. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality English lessons to students across KS3 and KS4. 
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies that promote student engagement and achievement.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and enriching curriculum.
  • Support the personal and academic development of students through mentorship and guidance.

Requirements:

  • A relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
  • A strong passion for English literature and language, with the ability to inspire students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
