English Teacher

At Teaching Personnel, we are looking to recruit an English Teacher for one of our secondary schools in Northampton.

Do you have a passion for literature, a knack for language, and a desire to ignite young minds with the power of words? ECTs and Fully Qualified teachers with some experience teaching in the UK and a DBS on the update service, are welcome to apply.

Contract: Full-time

Role Overview: As an English Teacher, you will have the opportunity to instill a love for literature, language, and communication in students through creative and thought-provoking teaching methods. You will plan and deliver high-quality lessons that foster critical thinking, communication skills, and a deep appreciation for the power of language. Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver dynamic English lessons that cover a range of topics, including literature, language analysis, and writing skills.
• Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel encouraged to express themselves and engage with challenging texts and ideas.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs and abilities of students, ensuring that all learners are supported and challenged appropriately.
• Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to engage students and promote active participation in learning.
• Assess students' progress through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their growth and development.
