We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated English Teacher to teach KS3 - KS5. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, teaching English language and literature, and helping students improve their reading, writing, and critical thinking skills. The position requires an ability to assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and promote a love for learning. Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver English lessons to students of ages 11-16.
- Foster an engaging classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum objectives and standards.
- Assess students' performance through tests, assignments, and projects.
- Provide regular feedback to students and parents regarding progress and areas for improvement.
- Assist with extracurricular activities and school events when needed.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with teaching methodologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Be in recipt of a QTS and TRN (Teacher Reference Number)
- Previous teaching experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for teaching and working with students.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their best.
