Location: Birmingham (Close to central)
Salary: Based on experience from MPS1 - UPS3
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

The school is based close to central Birmingham so is easily accessible from the city and also from the surrounding areas. The role is a long term position, that would be ongoing likely for the full academic year,

Role & Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and high-quality English lessons for Key Stage 3 and 4.
• Develop creative and effective teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth.
• Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing feedback to both students and parents.
• Contribute to the development of the English curriculum and extracurricular activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified teacher with QTS, however we are able to consider unqualified teachers with rlevant experience.
• Strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature.
• Experience teaching across KS3 and KS4; experience with KS5 is desirable but not essential.
• A passion for teaching and a desire to make a positive impact on students’ academic and personal development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
