Job description

English Teacher - Maternity Cover | Birmingham | Easter 2025 to Easter 2026

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated English Teacher to join a dynamic school in B9, close to Birmingham city centre, for a maternity cover role. The position will start in Easter 2025 and run through to Easter 2026.

This is a full-time role, including planning, teaching, and marking of English lessons for KS3 and KS4 students. The ideal candidate will have QTS and a passion for fostering a love of English in students, with a commitment to helping them achieve their best.

  • Location: B9, close to Birmingham city centre
  • Start Date: Easter 2025
  • End Date: Easter 2026
  • Paid to scale (MPS/UPS)
  • Responsibilities: Full teaching duties, including lesson planning, delivery, and marking

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
