Early Career Teacher (ECT) – Start Your Teaching Journey in Bury

The Role

We’re looking for a dedicated ECT who’s ready to inspire and engage pupils across a dynamic curriculum. Whether you're set to qualify by September 2025 or are already qualified, this is your chance to thrive in a nurturing environment with fantastic support and development opportunities.

Opportunities available:

  • Full-time teaching roles starting in the new academic year
  • Paid support staff roles available throughout the Summer Term

Full-time hours: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Day rate: £120 – £160

Your Responsibilities

  • Deliver exciting, high-quality lessons aligned with the national curriculum
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment
  • Support pupils’ academic progress and personal development
  • Track and assess pupil achievement
  • Collaborate with staff and parents to nurture a love of learning

About You

  • You’re a newly qualified teacher (or completing training by September 2025) with QTS
  • Passionate about inspiring young minds and improving outcomes
  • A great communicator who builds positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
  • Reflective, eager to grow, and open to feedback
  • Ready to be part of a warm, professional teaching community

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
