Job Title: Supply Teacher
Wigan
Salary: £120 - £150 per day, depending on experience
Contract: Flexible, Term Time Only
About the Role:
Are you an experienced teacher or a newly qualified teacher looking for flexible work across schools in Wigan? We are seeking adaptable and enthusiastic Supply Teachers to join our team and support local schools. This role offers the opportunity to work across a variety of settings, teaching different year groups and subjects. It’s ideal for teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a meaningful impact in a range of classroom environments.
As a Supply Teacher, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity of education when permanent staff are absent. You’ll have the chance to connect with multiple schools in the Wigan area, building relationships with staff and students, and experiencing different school cultures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality lessons across various subjects and year groups.
- Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a productive learning environment.
- Follow lesson plans and adapt as needed to ensure learning objectives are met.
- Provide feedback to regular teaching staff on student engagement and progress.
- Build positive relationships with students and contribute to their development.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
- Experience in teaching at primary or secondary levels.
- Strong classroom management skills and adaptability.
- Ability to work flexibly and travel to different schools in the Wigan area.
- A positive, proactive, and professional approach.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
