Job Title: Cover Supervisor (Secondary Schools)
Location: Andover, Hampshire
Start Date: January 2025
Contract Type: Full-time/Part-time

About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is seeking enthusiastic and dependable Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools in Andover from January 2025. This flexible role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities based on your availability.

As a Cover Supervisor, your main role will be delivering pre-prepared lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will maintain classroom management, create a positive learning environment, and manage student behaviour in line with the school's policies.

This position is ideal for graduates, unqualified teachers, and experienced Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) looking to gain valuable classroom experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons across various subjects and year groups.
  • Maintain classroom behaviour and create an environment conducive to learning.
  • Support students in their educational development during lessons.
  • Adhere to and enforce school policies and procedures.
  • Assist with additional classroom duties when required.

Requirements:

  • UK residency (this advert is only open to UK residents).
  • A passion for education and working with young people.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Flexibility to work across different subjects and year groups.
  • Previous experience in an educational setting is an advantage but not required.
