Teaching Personnel, the UK’s leading education recruitment agency, is seeking passionate and dedicated Cover Supervisors to join our vibrant team. Location: Various locations across the UK Start Date: October 2024 Contract: Full-time/Part-time, Temporary

About the Role: As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our secondary schools during staff absences. You will be responsible for managing the classroom, ensuring that students remain focused on pre-set work, and providing a safe and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise classes in the absence of the teacher.
  • Implement lesson plans and ensure students stay on task.
  • Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Assist with the preparation of learning materials.
  • Provide feedback to teachers on student progress and classroom management.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience in a school setting is desirable but not essential.
  • A proactive and resilient approach to challenges.
  • A valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
