Job description

Are you a recent graduate looking for experience within a mainstream Secondary School?

This could be a great opportunity for you to develop your skills and confidence within the classroom.

Teaching Personnel are currently working with several Secondary Schools located in Stoke-on-Trent who are seeking full-time Cover Supervisors. All schools are in great locations with excellent transport links between Crewe, Sandbach and Congleton. They are looking for a candidate who is passionate about the academic development of young people and is able to provide support to class teachers.

Requirements:

  • Experience working within a school is desirable for this role, but not necessary
  • Safeguarding training (this must be done through Teaching Personnel)
  • 2 references covering the last 24 months of employment/study
  • Must be confident in ensuring the schools behaviour policies are followed
  • Professional/efficient communication with both staff and pupils

About the role:

  • Flexible working pattern with opportunity for full-time
  • Delivering lessons in the absence of class teachers (no planning or marking required)
  • Possibility of providing cover across a range of subjects
  • Opportunity to earn between £90-£120 per day (dependent on experience/qualifications)

To be considered for this role, applicants must have a DBS registered on the update service or be willing to apply for one upon registering with Teaching Personnel.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
