Job description

Are you looking to take the next step in your education career? We are seeking enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools in Hook from January 6th, 2025. This role is ideal for individuals with experience as Teaching Assistants, Learning Support Assistants, or unqualified teachers looking to expand their skills and classroom experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and deliver pre-prepared lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
  • Ensure students remain engaged and actively participate in lessons
  • Manage classroom behaviour and enforce school policies
  • Support students of varying abilities, ensuring the smooth running of the class
  • Develop leadership and classroom management skills in a supportive school environment

Position Details:

  • Full-time and part-time roles available, depending on your availability

What We Are Looking For:

  • Individuals with experience in education or a passion for working with young people
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
  • Confidence in managing groups of students and delivering lesson content

Requirements:

  • UK residents only
  • A DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check will be required for this role

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
