Job description

Are you looking to step into the world of education and make a positive impact on young learners? We are seeking dedicated Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools in Fleet from January 6th, 2025. This role is perfect for experienced Learning Support Assistants (LSAs), Teaching Assistants (TAs), or unqualified teachers looking to broaden their classroom experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and deliver pre-prepared lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Maintain classroom control, ensuring students remain engaged and on task.
  • Support students of varying abilities, ensuring an inclusive learning environment.
  • Promote positive behaviour, following school policies and encouraging participation.
  • Build leadership and classroom management skills, gaining valuable teaching experience.

Position Details:

  • Full-time and part-time roles are available to suit your availability.

  • Ongoing support and training to develop your skills in classroom management.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Passionate individuals with experience working with young people in an educational setting.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and behaviour management skills.
  • Confidence to manage a classroom and deliver lesson content.

Requirements:

  • UK residents only – you must have the right to work in the UK.
  • A valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check is required for this role.
