Job Title: Cover Supervisor

Location: North West England, Greater Manchester, Altrincham

Job Type: Contract, Full-Time

Primary Industry: Education and Training

Salary: £85 - £95 Per day

Job Duties:

As a Cover Supervisor, your main responsibility will be to oversee and manage classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher. Your duties will include following lesson plans, maintaining discipline, and ensuring a safe and productive learning environment for students. You will need to effectively manage classroom behaviour and engage students in learning activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Experience working in an educational setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

A relevant educational qualification or equivalent experience

Experience:

Prior experience working in a school or educational environment is preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Ability to manage classroom behaviour
  • Strong communication skills
  • Organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional qualifications in Education or relevant field

Working Conditions:

You will work full-time hours on a contract basis in an educational setting. The role may require flexibility and the ability to adapt to different classroom environments.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
