Behaviour Support Manager – Secondary Schools – Newport
Salary: £110 - £115/day | Hours: Mon-Fri 8:30 – 15:30 | Start: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage classrooms in the absence of the teacher.
- Support students with behavioural challenges and ensure they remain focused on pre-prepared work.
- Foster a positive and nurturing atmosphere to help students thrive.
Essential Skills & Qualities:
- Empathy & Patience: Understand and support students’ unique challenges.
- Resilience: Stay calm and effective in challenging situations.
- Collaboration: Work alongside teachers and staff for a cohesive support approach.
- Adaptability: Tailor your support to individual student needs.
- Behaviour Management: Knowledge of effective strategies to manage behaviour.
Job Requirements:
- Enhanced Child-Only DBS Certificate (we can assist with this)
- Registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
- Two professional references covering the past 24 months
- Experience with children or a passion for developing skills in this area is preferred

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
