Future Teacher

Location: Newport.

Hours: 8.30am-3.30pm.

Pay: £110-£130 per day. 

Start date: ASAP

Teaching Personnel are working closely to recruit a Future Teacher for an established school in Newport. The pupils ages are between 11-16. We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate with a passion for working within education. As a Future Teacher within this school, it will help to have a background in sports, however this isn’t essential.

As a Future Teacher you will be expected to manage the behaviour of the students in the class and deliver the planned lessons whilst supporting and helping bring the best out of the pupils. This is a role where you can gain confidence and experience without being tied down by the additional duties of a teacher.

No experience is needed for this role however, you should be comfortable and confident being able to maintain a classroom and posses the good communication skills.

The successful candidate will

  • Demonstrate confidence and ease when presenting in front of a classroom.
  • Exhibit exceptional skills in effectively managing students' behaviour and ensuring their focus on tasks.
  • Display dependability, adaptability, and flexibility in various situations.
  • Showcase excellent communication skills, both with students and staff.
  • Possess the ability to proficiently teach a diverse range of subjects.

Requirements

  • Enhanced DBS cleared & on the update service. (Or willing to apply)
  • Be able to provide 2 of your most recent references.
  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Have up to date safeguarding training or willing to take it. (Provided for free by Teaching Personnel)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
